Through spring, Deborah Cordon has been welcoming her neighbours into her home – to the Write2Read Lounge – to share thoughts, memories and images, and to collaborate on writing projects that change perceptions of their neighbourhood.
Get-togethers will be happening 3 days a week, in a big lounge, in a small house, in a long street near Hele. Deb invites you into her house to add to an evolving installation, exploring words and mark-making through writing, painting, textiles and more..
If something can be written on or in, we will write it: buckets, spades, deckchairs, postcards, bunting, palm leaves. If something makes marks or doodles, we will use it: pens, pencils, burnt sticks, paints, fingers.
Suitable for all.
