Tim Hardy

Tim Hardy graduated from Rose Bruford College London in Lighting Design. Utilising his passion for light and skills as a creative-technical practitioner, he works across Lighting Design, Production Management and Technical Management.

Tim has a diverse experience of the Performance Arts, including Live Project Lead at the Eden Project and Technical Design & Specification for The House, Plymouth University’s new £7M Performing Arts Centre. He has also managed technical teams across a number of arts venues including The Place (Euston), Pavilion Dance South West (Bournemouth) and GAC (Brighton).

Tim has worked with many established Dance companies, including Richard Alston and in particular on Surf The Wave (UK Dance Showcase 2019). He especially enjoys supporting new and emerging companies to develop new works - including Exim, Heather Walrond Dance and Impermanence, with whom he has presented work in Seoul, Moscow and Jakarta.

In the UK Tim has provided notable Lighting Designs for outdoors works at Eden Project, Prideaux Place (DR2), and Heligan Gardens (CScape) and is also developing work for Illuminate 2019 in Plymouth. As part of Wavelength, Tim is collaborating on Impressions, to design illuminations at Corbyn Head in Torquay.
