Wavelength Open Call Commissions
We invited submissions from artists, designers and technologists for projects culminating in November 2019 as part of Eyeview, Torbay’s Great Place Scheme Cultural Programme. Wavelength will focus on experimental commissions with artists and technologists, culminating in a celebration of sound and light, illuminating Torbay, the overlooked and unexpected.
The deadline for submissions was 5pm on Thursday 18th July 2019. Thanks to everyone who submitted proposals. These are now being shortlisted.
Shortlisted applications will be notified by 24th July 2019 and invited to interview during w/c 29th July 2019 (skype or face-to-face depending on applicant’s location).
Announcements about the selected artists and proposals will follow in August.
Please check back for forthcoming calls including:
Technical & production placement opportunities working with lead artists on specific projects.

In addition to commission opportunities, we encourage artists and organisations to approach us if you are developing a project that you feel is relevant to the Eyeview principles. We are interested in supporting inclusion in events and platforms, leveraging funding or developing new creative partnerships.
Equally, if you are a locally-based creative that would like support to develop a project idea, we can provide advice and guidance to help realise ideas.
