Deb Cordon

Deb Cordon has used words in storytelling, visual arts, textiles and writing, in schools, youth clubs, libraries, prisons, high streets and forests for over 35 years. She . She has also worked as a nurse, a teacher, a barmaid, a cleaner, a mother, a grandmother, and painter of miniature model houses. Based in Torquay, Deb is leading on Write2Read, using the power of words to bring the ideas and potential of people and places in her local community to life. Over the coming months she will be inviting local residents into her home and community settings to co-create word-based works about in her local area.
