Find out more about the artist:
A gentle gathering of people, organisations and businesses working, playing and being inspired by Torbay’s wonderful seas, once called ‘The Queen of Watering Places’.
Wild swimmers, sea kayakers, conversationists and conservationists, The Fisherman’s Mission, Torbay Coast & Countryside Trust, fishermen and historians will all join us over a hearty and welcoming high tea to share their passions and experiences and discuss what the future holds for the marine ecology in Torbay and how to help support it now and in the future.
With sometimes conflicting human needs and shifts occurring due to climate change, this is a vital moment for people to share their hopes and concerns for this most extraordinary natural resource. Everyone who has the slightest interest in the sea here in Torbay - or who is drawn to finding out more - is welcome indeed!
A hearty high tea included.
All welcome, but most suitable for those over age 16.
