Join the procession!
As part of The Offering, artist Shelley Castle is looking for participants to join a very special procession on 16th June 2019.
You will be adorned with make-up to imitate the seahorses living in Tor Bay, whose eyes blacken like a mask as they engage in their courtship dance. Dress in clothes that reflect the colours of the spiny and snout-nosed seahorses - yellows, whites, textures, pale greens. Register here.
You will carry a model of the 1850's fishing vessel 'The Pilgrim' in the procession and down onto the beach. Dress in clothes that reflect colours of the sea: blue, green and grey. Register here.
You will hand out over 60 hand dyed gift bags to passers-by and onlookers, each with sea-related gifts and information. Dress in clothes that reflect colours of the sea: blue, green and grey. Register here.
You will carry the seahorse banners (belted and with gonfalons). Dress in clothes that reflect colours of the sea: blue, green and grey. Register here.
