Do you own/walk a dog and do you love to walk them on the beach at Goodrington?

Nigel and Louise are looking for dog lovers to interview and record talking about their dogs and their lives.

They are also looking for people and their dogs to help us try out some performance ideas on the beach after dark.

The project is called “Dog Ballet” and will be a celebration of local people and their dogs and their relationship with the beautiful beaches of Torbay. It will simply involve you and your dog/s doing what you do on the beach every day - walking, running, playing, swimming, digging, floating on surfboards ... but to do it at night.

No dancing skills are required. Your movements will be set to live music and recordings of your and/or other’s stories, be lit by artificial light, and have a small audience.

They may ask your dogs to wear light up collars and coats to chase flashing coloured balls for a short part of the performance. They are planning a short show with dogs, owners and a violinist on Goodrington Sands at 10pm on Thursday 13th June.

If you are happy to get involved, be part of the performance or find out more, come along and find them at Goodrington Sands!

Check the Eyeview facebook page for updates on when they will be there, or give them a call to arrange to meet up: on 07960 158597 or 07976 634724.
